Fall wood sign

My fall mantel needed a little something and I had seen a fun sign on Pinterest that I knew would be perfect.

The wood I used were fence planks that I had cut to 24". I stained them brown and then painted a cream acrylic paint over top. Sand to bring out some of the brown. I then made up what I wanted my sign to look like in photoshop and divided it so that I could print it out in pieces. I traced this onto my wood using tracing paper and then painted in my letters with orange and brown acrylic paint. Super easy.

I have been having fun with some digital prints. My sister asked for some help with her YW in excellence so these are a couple posters I did for her.

My daughter is also having a birthday in a few weeks and these are the invitations I created for her

Halloween posters

Every once in a while I'll get a call or text from my sisters asking if I would do a poster for them. I LOVE it when I get that call!! 

Here are two posters I designed for my sister for her ward Halloween party. 

October card club

Soooooo, normally for card club I do 3 cards and one little 3D/gifty thing. Well I just couldn't decide on what cute little gifty thing to do so I did two. And that was hard to hold back to just two. But I'm happy with my choices and hopefully so will the ladies.

First up the cards

I have a great up line, Becky, and she sent me this fun birthday sayings stamp set that I LOVE! 

I used the bow from the mini treat bag thinlits set and a die from the Lots Of Labels thinlits set. 

I am also in kinda in love with gold and anything. I pulled out my heat gun for this one and did some embossing with the gold powered. 

Ok, now the cute Halloween treats. These are going to be so fun to give, and they were so easy to make.

Halloween sign post

I LOVE Halloween and I love to change things up every year. I have recently moved and now have a great front yard to decorate and make spooky. I don't have much for outdoor decor so I set to work to make something fun and a little creepy. It still needs some cobwebs and a few crows and it will be complete.

I found my wood at Home Depot in their 70% off cart. They are fence planks that I had them cut to 2 feet for me. I then used a gray stain on them and let that dry. I printed out my words in Photoshop and traced them on to my wood. I then hand painted the letters in with black acrylic paint and a small paint brush you can find at Michaels. 

So ready to decorate!!! Lets get to it. 

A little something different

I love unique ways to give cards and brown paper bags fit the bill. These are a simple card elevated when placed in an altered paper bag.
